Our Brief Profile
ALDRIN BOGI
Born on the 9th of April 1969 in South India. Aldrin gave himself to Christ at age 10 and since then had many major encounters with God and in 1987 God called him to be in "fulltime ministry" So, after Aldrin finished his time in the College, he joined ministry among young College students in 1989 in Hyderabad. On the 16th of Jan 1991, Aldrin moved to Pune to work with young college students and stayed on in that city until 2003. Aldrin regualrly teaches in YWAM schools, speaks as a keynote speaker in many seminars, camps, retreats and Churches around the nation of India. He met his wife in 1997 and got married to her on the 8th December 1999 in Nagaland.
Aldrin's role in YWAM are many - Some of the main ones are as follows:
- Director of the SiXteen28 Ministry in YWAM Bangalore.
- Director, Student Mobilization Centre.South Asia
VIKHULI BOGI
Vikhuli - lovingly called "Viky" is from the North East part of India from a beautiful State called Nagaland. Soon after her graduation she took up a job in Nagaland as a teacher. In 1997 she had the call from God for Missions. She joined the DTS (Discipleship Training School) programme of YWAM in Pune and continued to stay on with YWAM. Her desire is to see a Hospitality ministry established from International Students. She loves to play sports like Table Tennis, Badminton and loves to cook. She led a few DTS's in Pune and now is committed to Hospitality ministry and providing Leadership to the SiXteen28 Ministry along with Aldrin Bogi. She also is actively preparing to lead the first ever University Discipleship Training School in Bangalore from the 16th of July 2006.
Anika our daughter was born to us on the 11th October 2001 in Pune. She goes to a play school. She is an amazing talkatve girl. On 23rd of July 2004 Zoehim was born to us. He brings great delight to all of us. Together we make our home in Bangalore, India.
